FAQ'S

The Little Drift’s tiny homes are situated on private land at Marlo Plains, East Gippsland, alongside Sailors Grave Brewing Dunetown. Halfway between Melbourne and Canberra along the coast, Marlo Plains is a 10 minute drive from Marlo, a small fishing town at the mouth of the great Snowy River.

Our homes are designed for singles, couples and friends seeking a quiet, design-led stay. We have future plans for some family friendly accommodation! Stay tuned. The property is shared with local kangaroos and other native wildlife so although we are animal lovers, your pets are strictly not permitted.

Yes, there is reception, some providers better than others. There is no wifi, we recommend keeping your phone on silent or do not disturb, switch off and enjoy the quiet of your surroundings.

We offer both! Please contact us directly hello@thelittledrift.com for corporate enquiries and to purchase gift vouchers.

Yes & No. Our homes are designed to be low-impact and off-grid but you won’t need a four-wheel-drive. Our homes are accessible via main roads. You can expect solar power, rain water and other eco-friendly solutions that don’t compromise on a luxury stay.

Each home features a compact kitchen with coffee machine, sandwich press, toaster and kettle, bathroom with incinerator toilet and rainshower, queen bed with linen, heating and cooling, outdoor BBQ, fireplace and seating. We provide shower and hand soap as well as some indoor activities for rainy days.

You can enjoy Sailors Grave Brewing next door, swim at the beaches in Marlo and Cape Conran or hike at many of the nearby trails.
Clear nights offer a real show for star gazers and we love to share local recommendations for food, art and nature experiences.
