Is the accommodation pet friendly? No. Our tiny homes are immersed in remote coastal bush which means we have native wildlife grazing around the homes including wallabies, kangaroos and a whole lot of birds. Our accommodation is not fenced and is not safe to bring pets. If you are travelling with a pet, let us know and we can recommend an experienced pet sitter in the nearby town of Marlo.
Are the tiny homes wheelchair accessible? No. Due to the location and size limitation of our tiny homes, they are not suitable for wheelchair access or for travelers with additional mobility requirements. However, we do recommend checking our other local accommodation providers at visitmarlo.com.au for a comfortable place to stay.
Are the tiny homes family or child friendly? Not particularly. Our homes have been carefully designed to offer a maximum of two guests per home a design-led stay. If you are travelling with children please let us know and we do our best to assist you.
Are there cooking facilities at The Little Drift? Yes. We have an outdoor gas BBQ with pots and pans for stove top cooking, a bar fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea, coffee, some condiments and all cooking utensils are provided.
Do the tiny homes have wifi? No wi-fi, no worries. You’ll be here to kick back however if you need to work, we can make recommendations of some great locations to plug in nearby. There’s phone reception however the strength of signal depends on your provider. Telstra and Optus are the strongest.
Do I need a 4WD to access the property? No. Our homes are located just of a main bitumen road. Once you enter the property, we have gravel roads and paths throughout.
What does off-grid mean? Off-grid means that we operate without connecting to private or public utility systems. Our two tiny homes are completely self-sufficient and use solar power and tank water. Staying with us means taking extra consideration around your consumption. We say 'using less to enjoy more'. Our guests receive a set of guidelines to assist them in having a comfortable stay.
How close is The Little Drift to Sailors Grave Brewing? Our two tiny homes reside at Dunetown, the home of Sailors Grave Brewing. We share an entrance off the main road with the brewery and our two homes sit in a clearing visible from the hospitality venue. Our Moonlite home is closest to the brewery, about 200m from the cellar door. Half Acre is a little more secluded, about 300m from the cellar door.
